This young male/female kitten is valued at USD-----, and is being sold by the Seller Venita Saracchi-Falk of Vens Passion Maine Coons Atlanta, as a show/pet, male/female, to the Buyer ----------------.

Buyer Conditions for Breeders (will be adapted for pet owners)

The Buyer agrees to the following conditions:

1. This male/female will not be used by other catteries for stud/breeding service.

2. This male/female will not be sold to another cattery at any time.

3. This male/female will have a normal family life and will not live in a cage, nor ever be declawed.

4. If the Buyer decides to no longer keep this male/female, the Seller shall be notified before a neuter/spay procedure is performed on this male/female.

5. This male/female will not be abandoned in a shelter after retiring from breeding. The Buyer will find an adoption family for it once it has been neutered/spayed.

6. This male/female will be regularly vaccinated and checked by a veterinarian at least 2 times a year.

7. The Buyer agrees to have the kitten checked by his/her veterinarian within 3 days of the kitten’s arrival, (10 days for blood tests). During this period, the kitten shall be kept in quarantine from other animals but not from human company.

Failure to respect any of the above conditions (1 through 6), entails a fine of $10,000.

Seller  Conditions

This male/female kitten accompanies a health certificate showing it is free of parasites, negative for exposure to the corona virus (FIP), feline aids (FIV) and Feline Leukemia (FeLV) – (one kitten in every litter is tested for our records or per Buyer’s specific request), is vaccinated against Rabies and FVRCP for a full year, its internal organs sound, and external physical condition is good. This kitten is N/N for HCM via DNA of his parents. The Pedigree and CFA Certificate is sent to the Buyer by registered mail for security reasons.  

Medical Expenses

The Seller is not liable for costs related to the kitten’s future medical expenses unless they are related to its first veterinary visit (3 days after departure from Atlanta).

 Transportation

Preference is given to owners who will personally pick up their kittens. However, if the kitten is to be transported via Cargo, it will be at the Buyer’s risk. In case the kitten is lost during transportation while under custody of the airlines, the Seller will not be financially responsible for the Buyer’s loss. However, the Seller will share the burden of the loss and reimburse the Buyer half the purchase price of the kitten as stated on the carrier's Airway bill.
