After a long journey from Italy, "Bello" emerged from the carrier and immediately turned on his Italian charm with head butts, purrs, kisses, love bites, kneading, and all! Bello has the wide strong shoulders, rectangular body, rounded forehead sloping down to a deep stop, boxy muzzle, well placed ears with loads of tufts, a nice long tail, a wonderful thick coat, and a strong square chin. Above all, I love his open expression and sociable character!

All the above qualities apply also to his siblings though Dr. No's high white excites the breeder in me :-)

(Our "Old Folks" competed against youngsters in the Open category as FIFe titles obtained in Europe are not recognized by CFA). We hope that in their own age group they will do better. Grooming was our major setback because the standards are much more severe in CFA compared to those we had in Europe. We still need to find the right products and improve on this skill....all said, this was a good learning experience for Teresa Cummins my partner and myself, and as first timers, we did not do so bad! We did manage to get all three cats their Champion titles :-) We also met warm and wonderful breeders who welcomed us into the community with open arms :-))

Results: BEST IN SHOW was won by Orpheus and Best In Variety for both days. Qishu won Best In Variety on both days and was nominated Best In Show on the second day.
With their honors they follow our Lucky Star and Napoleon who recently earned their championship titles, and will soon be joining them in the USA.
