Vens Passion Fantasia

Little girl in a boys's world :-) Unfortunately there was a question on if Fantasia is a brown or a silver patched tabby for which she lost some points, but the unanimous opinion of judges and breeders present was that she was too good to stop showing :-) so Fantasia will continue showing for a while, and then she will pass her good looks to three lines - a brown, red, and a silver line, and we shall see which one pins down the color!

Our red, brown and silver boys will gladly help her do this ;-)))

Lestat shows off his new show curtains stitched by Krissie's talented Mom!

Life as he knew it before the sardines :-)

Before

After

OK! That was goooooooood!!!

Male kitten Vens Passion Lestat with his lovely young owner Kirsten :-))

If sardines could speak...Lestat stares one down for the first time...

True to his name, this little fellow is quite a handful for his petite owner Kirsten, especially when face to face with a delicious plate of sardines offered by another breeder! Something he had never seen before and Kristen has a hard time getting him to behave with a sardine dangling in front of his face..ha! ha!

One of the youngest kittens in his category, at the show he was as happy and alert as he could be. He did not sleep a wink and was eager to reach out to anyone who would stop by his cage to say hello :-) the judges had a hard time yanking him off the poles :-)) Overall, a great first outing for a kitten!

Winnings for this one day show with six rings

CFA GCH Vens Passion Zeppelin of Koontopia

(son of CH Langstteichs L'Playback & CH Willowplace Lucky Star)

~Zeppelin's owner Teresa Cummins did a better than professional job on his grooming, bringing out the best in him! All the Judges commented highly on his tabby colors and markings and long tall muscular rectangular body with the endless full tail. Crowds and TV cameramen stood around for pictures of this gorgeous young 10 mth 19 pound male.

Justcoons PS I Love You

(daughter of Aloa's Nifty Wolf & Winerau's Lonely Girl)

Our silver tortie smoke kitten Justcoons PS I Love You is showing in the Long Hair Kitten category. It was hard for any Judge to miss her beauty, strong chin, proportionate muzzle, open expression, wonderful stop, rectangular body, large tall ears and her stunning color.

Langstteichs Nobi of Marine's Dream (precision, a female),..so as the crowd looked on in awe, the judge asked ..."what would you do if you came face to face with this creature in the dark?" and after a long perplexed silence,...

"Nominated for Best in Show"! she cried.

also nominated was Marine's Dream Plume proudly carried by her owner Andrea

Congratulations to our new CFA Champions !

Indianapolis/IN Nov 17-18, 2007

CFA CH Langstteichs L'Playback, (CFA AND FIFE) CH Willowplace Lucky Star,

CH Vens Passion Orpheus

(Our "Old Folks" competed against youngsters in the Open category as FIFe titles obtained in Europe are not recognized by CFA). We hope that in their own age group they will do better. Grooming was our major setback because the standards are much more severe in CFA compared to those we had in Europe. We still need to find the right products and improve on this skill....all said, this was a good learning experience for Teresa Cummins my partner and myself, and as first timers, we did not do so bad! We did manage to get all three cats their Champion titles :-) We also met warm and wonderful breeders who welcomed us into the community with open arms :-))
